Flight compensation claims service with an AI eligibility checker in ChatGPT and Claude

What is AirHelp?

AirHelp checks whether a delayed, cancelled or overbooked flight qualifies for compensation and pursues the claim with the airline on a no-win, no-fee basis. Its free app adds live flight tracking, disruption alerts and email/calendar scanning for past flights. In 2026 it launched an AI compensation checker that runs inside ChatGPT and Claude.

Cost: No win, no fee (35% of any compensation; AirHelp+ plans from US$32.99 a year). Booking: No booking. Works on: Web, iPhone, Android, App in ChatGPT.

Best for: Passengers with a delayed, cancelled or overbooked flight, especially under EU or UK rules, who want someone else to chase the airline.

How AirHelp uses AI

In ChatGPT or Claude, you describe a disrupted flight in your own words and AirHelp's connector identifies the flight, applies the relevant passenger-rights rules and estimates the payout. AirHelp says it combines legal experts and in-house flight data with AI-powered technology; a 2019 announcement described automated claim agents, introduced from December 2016, that assessed eligibility and legal options.

Booking: No booking.

Keep in mind

  • The ChatGPT/Claude checker covers EC 261, UK 261, Turkish (SHY) and Saudi rules; claims are completed on airhelp.com, not in the chat
  • The checker does not handle bookings, baggage, travel insurance or live flight status
  • Standard fee is 35% of compensation, plus 15% more if legal action is needed
  • Compensation depends on airline liability; extraordinary circumstances can rule a claim out
