What is ChatGPT agent?
ChatGPT agent launched on 17 July 2025 for Pro, Plus and Team users, letting ChatGPT use its own virtual computer and browser to carry out multi-step web tasks and asking permission before consequential actions such as reservations. It absorbed Operator, OpenAI's January 2025 research preview that OpenAI said could automate travel bookings and restaurant reservations, launched with partners including Priceline; Expedia said in May 2025 it had integrated with Operator. ChatGPT agent has since been withdrawn, and OpenAI now directs users to ChatGPT Work.
Cost: Discontinued (No current offer). Booking: No longer available. Works on: Web, Inside ChatGPT.
