In beta

Meta's help centre says Muse and its subscriptions are in limited testing and not available in all locations; the September 2026 launch post says it is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android and muse.ai.

What is Muse?

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent, announced in September 2026, which runs tasks on a dedicated cloud computer. Meta says it can open a browser, fill out forms and handle tasks such as booking travel, and that it checks with the user before sensitive actions like making a purchase. It is used through the Muse app, WhatsApp and muse.ai, with AI glasses support announced as coming soon.

Cost: Free + paid plan (Paid from US$20 per month). Booking: Books for you. Works on: Web, iPhone, Android, WhatsApp.

Best for: US users who want an agent they can message, including in WhatsApp, to handle a travel booking end to end.

How Muse uses AI

Powered by Meta's Muse Spark model, the agent carries out multi-step tasks in a cloud browser on the user's behalf rather than only answering questions.

Booking: Books for you. Check who the seller is before you confirm: their change and refund rules apply to anything it books.

Keep in mind

  • In limited testing and rolling out in the US; not available in all locations
  • Free use has a usage limit that resets
  • Checks with the user before purchases and other sensitive actions
