Mindtrip AI trip planner and travel assistant

By Mindtrip, Inc. Sources checked .

Map-based AI travel assistant that plans trips and books flights and hotels in chat

  • You book in the same app

What is Mindtrip?

Mindtrip combines chat with an interactive map to suggest places to stay, eat and visit, and turns them into trip plans that groups can edit together. It added in-chat flight booking with Sabre and PayPal in May 2026 and conversational hotel search and booking (Mindtrip Stays) in July 2026. In September 2026 it relaunched as a personal travel assistant that remembers your preferences and runs agents that monitor your trips.

Cost: Free (No paid plan listed). Booking: You book in the same app. Works on: Web, iPhone.

Best for: Travellers who want planning, booking and on-trip help in one free tool, especially on the web or iPhone.

How Mindtrip uses AI

Answers travel questions, builds and edits itineraries, compares flight and hotel options and explains its picks, remembers your preferences, and monitors prices, flight changes and weather. A camera feature identifies what you photograph and translates signs and menus.

Booking: You book in the same app.

Keep in mind

  • No Android app from Mindtrip, Inc. found; an Android app called 'Mindtrips' is from a different developer
  • Mindtrip does not sell travel itself: flights, stays and other bookings are made with a booking partner (sometimes by sending you to the partner's site), and that partner's change, cancellation and refund rules apply
  • Prices shown may not include all taxes and fees, according to Mindtrip's terms

Is Mindtrip free? Cost and plans

Free. The App Store listing says the app is 'totally free' and lists no in-app purchases (US). Booking or service fees, if any, are not stated.
