What is Expedia Romie?
Romie is an AI assistant Expedia unveiled at its May 2024 Explore event, pitched as part travel agent, part concierge and part personal assistant. Expedia said you could invite Romie into an SMS group chat to follow your holiday plans, and that it could pull travel details from your emails and suggest restaurants and activities near your hotel. It was released only as an alpha on EG Labs.
