What is Expedia Trip Matching?
Trip Matching, announced on 14 May 2025, works inside Instagram: you share a publicly available travel Reel with Expedia's official account and Expedia replies with AI-generated trip suggestions and an itinerary based on it. Expedia opened beta access and said it would launch on Instagram in early June 2025. Its May 2026 Explore announcement refers to Trip Matching as a feature launched the previous year with Meta.
Cost: Free (No paid plan listed). Booking: Not confirmed by the provider. Works on: Messaging, Inside Instagram (@Expedia account).
