What is Ask Bonvoy?
Ask Bonvoy is Marriott's AI-powered conversational search on Marriott.com and in the Marriott Bonvoy apps for iOS and Android. Members describe a trip in plain language and get curated results from Marriott's roughly 10,000 properties in 146 countries and territories, and can also search for dining, spa and golf. It launched as a beta in U.S. English for a subset of members, and reservations are completed through Marriott's existing booking flow.
Cost: No separate charge (Comes with the device or service). Booking: You book in the same app. Works on: Web, iPhone, Android, Inside Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy app.
Best for: Marriott Bonvoy members in the U.S. who want to find a Marriott hotel by describing the trip instead of filling in search fields.
How Ask Bonvoy uses AI
Interprets a natural-language request, works out the purpose of the trip and returns curated Marriott properties. Marriott says answers are grounded only in its own verified property data rather than open web content.
Booking: You book in the same app.
Keep in mind
- Beta: U.S. English only, and limited to a subset of Bonvoy members and new sign-ups
- Covers Marriott properties only
- Searching by loyalty points is not supported yet; Marriott says it will be added over time
- Hands off to Marriott's standard booking flow rather than booking inside the conversation
Is Ask Bonvoy free? Cost and plans
No separate charge. No separate charge; part of Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy app. The beta is offered to Bonvoy members.
