TripGenie is the AI travel assistant inside the Trip.com app, launched in 2023. It answers travel questions, builds customised itineraries and helps you find flights and stays to book on Trip.com. Trip.com rebuilt it on Google's Gemini models, adding a Live Guide with real-time voice and camera help and a Menu Assistant that translates menus, and in 2026 added in-chat agentic booking for eSIMs and attraction tickets, from request to payment without leaving the chat.
