In beta

Google's help page describes Flight Deals as an experimental (beta) feature. It launched in beta in the US, Canada and India on 14 August 2025, and on 17 November 2025 Google said it had started rolling out to more than 200 countries and territories.

What is Google Flights Flight Deals?

Flight Deals is a search page inside Google Flights for flexible, price-focused travellers. You describe roughly where, when and how you want to travel, and it suggests destinations and dates, then pulls live Google Flights fares. Fares are labelled as deals when they are well below the typical price for that route.

Cost: Free (No paid plan listed). Booking: Sends you to book elsewhere. Works on: Web, Inside Google Flights.

Best for: Flexible travellers who care more about a cheap fare than a specific destination or date.

How Google Flights Flight Deals uses AI

Google's AI interprets a natural-language trip description, identifies matching destinations and dates, and then searches Google Flights inventory from more than 300 partners. Google defines the 'typical price' it compares against as the median of the cheapest prices for the route over the past 12 months.

Booking: Sends you to book elsewhere.

Keep in mind

  • Experimental beta; Google says suggested destinations and dates may not always match what you asked for
  • Google's help page says searches may not return results for multi-city trips, infants or other specific passenger types, groups larger than 4, or specific layover requests
  • Prices and availability can change before you book
  • 'Savings Deals' badges need a fare at least 20% below the typical price; other results are simply among the cheapest for the search

Is Google Flights Flight Deals free? Cost and plans

Free. Free to use as part of Google Flights; no paid tier. You pay the airline or travel site you book with.
